seabrook town hall | dream chasers workshop | styled shoot | seattle wedding photographer

For my whole life I have always been the "I can do it myself" person. I started my photography business and ventured into the entrepreneurial world of craziness, emotional, one day is the best day ever, the other is terrible and your work is no good. We all know those feelings.

But I realized as a creative entrepreneur and a wedding photographer learning her craft that I needed to ask for help, or invest in help and education.

I have invested in a few different courses, guides and workshops and that WHOLE list is for another post, but this is about The Dream Chasers Facebook Community and Emma Rose's contribution to the photography community. Most importantly her one day workshop I got to attend in the beautiful, cozy, sweet town of Seabrook, WA. I'm telling you, if I could live here I would, every time I go there I get reminded of the movie Pleasentville.

This one day workshop was the perfect mix of education and an awesome styled shoot put together by the girls of Bixby & Pine. I soon realized these workshops are amazing for education and styled shoots, but even more importantly it puts me in full focus of my business without any distractions.

Since this workshop I have also attended Emma's Dream Chasers 3 day workshop in South Bend, WA (see that post here). Investing in my business has been one of the most rewarding things about the creative entrepreneur journey, and has made me a better wedding photographer.
