heartfelt riverside coffee shop engagement session | pnw wedding photographer | snohomish, wa | grace & christian

We got a little rained out of our original location for Grace & Christian's engagement session, but we quickly made a plan B and it did not disappoint. As we arrived in Snohomish the rain let up for us to head down to the river walk! It was a super cold day, but Grace toughed it out in her short sleeves. These two were all smiles their whole session.

We headed to Proper Joes Coffee after the Snohomish river walk and grabbed some coffee (and some photos!)

Grace and Christian get married in a few short months, I can't wait to be there documenting their day!

Christian and I met through his younger sister, who I became really good friends with while working at a frozen yogurt shop in college. The funny thing is that we went to all the same schools, but never knew each other because of our 3 year age difference!

Christian took me on a hike to Rattlesnake Ledge, the location of our second date. As we hiked up the trail there were roses and letters hung in the trees! Once we got to the top, our sisters had cleared off the whole front rock. When Christian popped the question there was quite the crowd of other hikers and everyone applauded!

We love hiking and spending time in Eastern Washington. Our tentative plan is to move to Spokane in the next couple of years. We like the more relaxed feel of Eastern Wa and the weather. Christian is really interested in building guns, hunting and fishing (all of which I'm trying to be more adventurous with), but our most common date night is hitting the gym together, browsing Target and going to the movies.
