pacific northwest outdoor wedding - winding path gardens, arlington, wa - nate & kristina - pnw wedding photographer
What a celebration! Nate and Kristina's wedding put beauty and comfort all into one day. Subtle details of delicate pink and white roses accompanied by baby's breath on the tables, with a venue that did not disappoint.
Winding Path Gardens in Arlington, WA is filled with photo ops throughout the gardens, but also has an AWESOME chandelier hanging over the reception spot, while overlooking the ceremony site.
It was an overcast day with a little rain at first, but as my second shooter, Kelsey and I finished up all of the wedding details, the rain let up just in time for first look in the gardens! The day progressed with ease and excitement to see these two tie the knot! They "row sham bowed" for who got to saw their vows first and threw their hands up in celebration when it was time to party the night away. They played a SUPER fun game at the reception that I had never seen before! They take off their shoes so both the bride and groom have one of each shoe. The DJ started asking the questions like "who does this better/more etc." The bride and groom are facing away from each other, sitting on chairs and hold up who's shoe for their answer. It had them and their guests cracking up! It was so much fun to watch and catch a few shots of!
All the best to Nate and Kristina as they embark on their journey into marriage. I feel honored to have gotten to know these two and document their love through their engagement and on their wedding day!
