Sarah and Ian’s wedding day at Ray’s Boathouse was so fun, and beautifully set on the waterfront in Seattle. Sarah and Ian got ready in separate locations and then we headed to Golden Gardens Park for their first look and photos and it was such a good idea!

Ray’s Boathouse was such a perfect setting for a summer wedding in Seattle! We got in sunset photos on the dock and they were so pretty! We also created a wedding film for Sarah and Ian, see it HERE!

It was an extra special treat to hear Sarahs review after their wedding photography experience; “I'll start by saying I can't recommend April highly enough -- she's absolutely amazing! I've now done 3 photo shoots with April, and engagement shoot with my fiancee (now husband), a boudoir shoot, and of course the wedding day photos. Not only are April's photographs gorgeous and extremely high quality, she makes you feel amazing while you're taking pictures. The engagement photos were our first photo shoot with April and we were both nervous, my husband was especially nervous because he'd had a bad experience with a photographer during a family photo shoot. We ended up having so much fun! We went to Whidbey Island and the photos turned out so beautifully. We got great photos, and it felt like an adventure. It honestly made us more excited to get married. The boudoir shoot was also nerve racking for me at first, but April made it fun. She rented a super cute studio and we just had fun. The photos turned out amazing and I was so happy I did it. Our wedding photos were fantastic! She took so many pictures and was sure to focus on the important parts. April was also incredibly helpful with planning a timeline (because I really needed some help with that!), which was above and beyond for helping me organize the day. We also had April's husband do some videography and got a wedding highlights video as well as raw footage of our ceremony and the toasts at the reception. I HIGHLY recommend getting a wedding highlights video -- I love it so much, I've watched it many many times and it's easy to share with friends and family. We are also having April design a wedding album, she did such a wonderful job picking page layouts, it was well worth the money. I'd recommend working with April to anyone getting married and honestly anyone looking for a photographer for portraits or a special occasion. She's good at what she does and an incredible person who is a delight to get to know. I will definitely be reaching out to her again for any future photo-op needs!!!”
